I am deeply confused here. I recall a conversation with Scott where he interrupted me after I'd said something like, "Trump isn't as bad as Pence could be," and insisted that Trump was the absolute worst, the pinnacle of violent and brutish realpolitik.

Meanwhile, the Left also-ran a candidate, Bernie, with a published agenda [0] full not of blame, but of infrastructure projects and social safety nets.

Where on the political compass is this sort of opinion supposed to land? I don't understand and I wish that he would be clearer.

Obama enriched himself off his position with paid speeches and book deals. Is that as bad as whatever Trump is doing? No, which is kind of the point!
