There is not a lot of information here, just two different numbers and a question of why they're different. I suspect the bigger one is just flat out wrong.
Also, the author is missing the larger point that the COVID-19 deaths would be substantially higher than 200k without the lockdowns, whereas the flu death numbers are lower than that without lockdowns (and also with a vaccine available).
