So there is lots of science backing up the fact that a vegan diet is better for athletic performance and also the athlete is still saying it has helped him. One of the reasons for the outperformance on a vegan diet is reduced inflammation.
But somehow the author of this article knows better because "where do you get your protein/vitamin b".

I'm not sure what his logic is here. Like the article here on HN you NEED protein to repair and grow and vegans almost always come up short.
Cam's situation sounds like vegan voodoo.
