Something not mentioned in the story or a classic mid-life crisis.
What a dog’s breakfast of a story. What’s with the LSD blurb?
Seems a little young for a mid life crisis...

I see a guy who was handsome, clean cut, ambitious and successful who quit as CEO of a growing business for no apparent reason to become a a long-haired degenerate who prides himself on riding a scooter and using LSD.

Is there a term for this phenomenon? Is it just a spectacular manifestation of burnout/stress?

I dunno, consultancy does seem pretty lame. I get the impression it's like working for someone but not really working for them
And charging obscene amounts of money to do very little.
I believe the term is delayed-onset adolescence
I thought people went to Instagram to flex.
Is this yet another GPT-3 experiment?
Apparently it ran into a botnet of keyword-driven upvote bots.
