YC Poll: Does anyone else out there think TechCrunch loads way too slow?

When I load TechCrunch in the morning, it freezes my browser. I'm running Firefox 2 on Mac. I don't know about you guys, but it kills me every time I load this site. It has gotten so bad I hardly click through to a story because I know when I go back I will have to reload the page. With cache enabled I am seeing 247 requests and a 43.77s load time.
