Poll: Ban ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ on HN?

Most emojis are strongly discouraged on HN, whether ASCII or Unicode. For some reason, "¯\_(ツ)_/¯" seems to be tolerated in comments as an exception. Is this a good thing? Should it be banned? Or does no one else care?

I have, in fact, been on that page many times... And I don't recall ever seeing that, or ever seeing a poll on HN. Crazy! Awesome though.
