Anyone not invited to YC still want to spend the summer in San Fran?

I am wondering if there are other people that applied to YC but didn't get an interview, who still want spend the summer in San Francisco?

I still want to be there for the summer to gain mentorship opportunities and grow my relationships in the valley. My thought is for a group of like minded people, renting a large space (home/condo) for the summer and creating the environment for ourselves. While we have to pay our own way, we can still take advantage of the many opportunities the valley has to offer.

Anyone else interested in this?
