Ask HN: Hitting a brick wall with MAPS 715-123160
Long story short - we signed up for MAPS, got verified, paid the bill. 2 days later we can't access any of the benefits. Infamous error 715-123160 that nobody has any clue about. There are many threads online where people were ripped off in a similar fashion, with more questions than answers.
There's no way to contact MS Partner billing to request a refund. Regular frontline support gives us a copypaste response saying they can't tell us why. If they do call, it's a voip call masked as Seattle when someone who doesn't speak any English calls from their kitchen and reads us the content of the email (we can't help you and we won't tell you why).
We haven't used any of the benefits, only log into Partner dashboard from the verified location, have MFA enabled, etc. Feels like some kind of shadowban.
We're a regular US company of 25 years. Pay thousands to MS every month in subscriptions. Never had any issues with them. Can someone shine any light at what's going on here?
