A lot of US service providers (and European organizations using them) need to think about the implications of the Schrems II decision. The more people who did the legal analysis I speak to the more it becomes clear that this will have major implications.
In practice I have already heard about organisations that are wary about handling personal information in cloud services if they are hosted on US platforms like AWS, Azure etc.
The EU needs to get an agreement in place with the US. But it looks like this will not happen for maybe a long time. Will there be a major exit from US cloud services in the mean time?
