Ask HN: What devices or apps do you use to track your health? 5 points by shivaodin 5y ago ↗ HN I am curious what devices people use to track their health. I am also interested in how these devices/apps sync their data with Apple Health.
[–] businessgeek 5y ago ↗ I use a Garmin Forerunner 945 with Garmin Connect. Works pretty good. For me the “analytics” part of Garmin Connect is better then Apple Activities (switched from Apple Watch 1 year ago).
[–] XCSme 5y ago ↗ Fitbit + regular scale.I use a normal scale and weigh myself each morning, I manually enter that data into my Fitbit app.I also wear my Fitbit whenever I train/play table tennis to monitor my heart rate and estimate calories burned.
[–] RiskTrainer 5y ago ↗ Fitbit + scale + workout and weight trackers to track history, pace and performance. Android phone. Most fitness apps do a terrible job of trends and tracking on a season or year to date basis. There is certainly room for improvement there.
[–] nxpnsv 5y ago ↗ Garmin Fenix 5p & Connect app. Biking/Running activities linked to strava. I've been very happy with this setup and see no reason to change.
