What I still don’t understand is why Stones didn’t just ban phones at the table. A no-phones rule does not exactly sound like an unreasonable policy to have at a poker tournament. Also have security take a real close look at whatever’s on your head before the game starts.
I’d think the implementation of those two simple measures could have avoided the whole messy, prolonged business of accusations and theorizing. I’d be very curious to know why that wasn’t done, since it seems obvious enough to make me think I’m missing something.
If the guy’s genuinely that good, he could play under any circumstances. If his legendary abilities rely on having his phone in his lap, well, maybe proving he’s a fake doesn’t require advanced math so much as basic addition.

Very little new information unfortunately. No proof either way, other than the way he's been playing is nearly impossible mathematically.
