Ask HN: How do we revolutionize news reading?

Current RSS readers are all the exact same thing in different packaging. I think the technology is great in terms of delivery. One major problem is that publishers undermine it by truncating content so you have to go to the website to make them ad revenue. I get that, I just don't like it.

There has got to be a better way. I have a lot of ideas in this space and would love to do this as a side project with a hacker from HN interested in the news space.
