Ask HN: Filter Shopping Results from Search?

When searching for help repairing commercial products the search results contain almost nothing but links to product listings on Amazon, Ebay, Aliexpress and so on. Adding the keyword 'problem' used to resolve this issue but search engines like Google or even DDG apparently no longer care. Filtering by e.g. -"add to cart" replaces the results with non-English product listings.

How should one deal with this? Finding troubleshooting information used to be easy.
