No doubt OP is referring to the antics of the EFF (not that one) a leftwing socialist party of mainly rabble rousers which only attracted about 11% afaik of voters.
How this somehow mirrors the feelings of the majority of South Africans towards whites are a rather puzzling conclusion to draw.
Is that a "trend"? It seems like niche / student activist behaviour. I live in a city where a banner with those words has reportedly been flown a few times but it bears no reflection on my actual experience.
And I'm sure there's many people that haven't encountered a single BLM protest - that doesn't mean BLM isn't a trend. Does it have to be on every street and in every town to count? I didn't think it necessary at first since even the most casual browsing of the news would lead one to encounter that message, but I'll include a few examples.
Also note how it's specifically white silence that's singled out - other races are not called out. Their silence apparently contributes less, or not at all, to violence.
White Silence Is Not An Option (2016): My fellow White Americans, if we remain silent and uneducated - if we refuse to proclaim Black Lives Matter - then we might as well be holding the gun ourselves. -- https://www.huffpost.com/entry/white-silence-is-not-an-o_b_1...
Orania is actually full of very decent hard working people. A lot of the sentiment in this article is biased by left wing agenda. It's sad to read actually. Orania is quite small, and actually garners quite a lot of respect from all the different peoples. There are tons of black only villages, and that is also perfectly in order. The article points out it's a cultural town, not a racial one and that is definitely true.

More like sleepy peaceful town that is expanding. Which is an achievement (given SA’s crime situation) but hardly taking the country by storm.
It also rests on some fairly unique historic concessions. So you can’t exactly start a Orania v2 next door.
So it’s really closer to the Amish in a way. Closed hardworking community that has chosen to isolate themselves to some extent
