Microsoft c# vs vb.net

I'm wondering if people still think there is a snobbery regarding c# over vb.net?

I grew up from a vb background and I feel like I am ridiculed for staying with vb over c# even though the new .net 4 brings vb right up to speed with the advantages c# had?
