Hey HN, in the spirit of solving problems with software, I’ve made a site to connect founders on a weekly basis. I built this project in a few days as I’m currently looking for a co-founder. The result: a co-founder speed dating site.
Every Saturday at 10AM PDT you get matched with other founders and talk about their startups and ideas. You only have 5 minutes to talk and then you’ll get matched with another random founder.
I’ve used Svelte for the frontend, Flask for the backend and Vonage for the video API. It’s still an early MVP but it works and I'm excited to share it with others!

Arrhh my timer didn't work, you weren't meant to start until 10am today haha. I've fixed the bug and also added a banner to say that you need to be on desktop for the video to work. Unfortunately Vonage API is limited to only desktop and I'll be looking to replace it with my own WebRTC solution soon.
