Taking a look at the viewer numbers on more popular channels on LBRY (David Pakman who has about a million youtube subscribers seems to have a few dozen to a few hundred views on LBRY, Tim Pool who is labelled as a 'TOP' creator has about 500 on his most viewed video) I very much doubt that's the case
Seems like LBRY is trying to jump on the david vs goliath train when in reality I'm pretty sure Google doesn't want to be associated with the content LBRY keeps up, which I think is their right

MS does choose what is on the MS Store. You can install applications outside of the Play Store.
