Super cool. We've 'upgraded' from GA to GA360 because we wanted to get additional features. I wonder SaaS products you'd recommend on top (campaign management, customer lifecycle analytics, etc) on top GWA. Any suggestions?
They do create some excellent stuff. Their 'Workers' product is incredibly well thought out. Makes me pay close attention to the rest of their catalogue.
Really hope this develops into a full-fledged competitor to Plausible/Matomo/Fathom/Simple, which are way overpriced at scale. Would also like to see it keep more than a week of data for historical (anonymized) comparison.
I've also never seen an analytics product that attempted to deduplicate or correlate data between server logs and JavaScript beacons, for example to count the number of cached PWA visits or display a percentage of users with JS disabled. Cloudflare is uniquely positioned to do this robustly.
How is Plausible/Matomo/Fathom/Simple over priced at scale? I use Fathom and their pricing is $75/mo for 2M views a month... If you're getting that much traffic, $75/mo is a BARGAIN.
You can self-host Matomo and it should be cheaper.
You could also try the product[0] that I'm working on, which is also self-hosted, but more modern/efficient than Matomo and that also provides some of their premium features in the self-hosted form.
This is a decent start to a product that hopefully, will become more complex over time because as it is now, I can't see it overthrowing much in the analytics space - mostly because of the lack of user-controlled behaviour and customizations. It's a great way to have analytics without using analytics though, since CF is going to sit in front of your traffic anyway.
If you're a potential customer for this product, then Cloudflare already sits in front of your traffic anyway. I doubt that this product is going to be used by many people who weren't already Cloudflare customers.
From the blog linked in the comments: “We don’t want to know what you do on the Internet — it’s not our business”. So they built a product that allows others to track what you are doing. And they don’t fingerprint, because “users have no way to opt out”, so they track server-side with no way to opt-out. I feel gaslighted.

* Live now for all paying customers.
* No specific date for free-tier customers.
* You will be able to use this without DNS changes using a Javascript beacon.

I really like logflare. I hope this doesn't impact them too much.
