Screen school forces parents to micromanage their children (nytimes.com)

I wrote that summary title rather than the original title ("The New Helicopter Parents Are on Zoom") because I think the original title is very unfair to parents. They aren't choosing to "helicopter," they are being forced to by the format of the "school," which is completely age-inappropriate for most elementary children.

If parents knew how to manage their own lives, they could teach those skills to their children.
