Search Engine for Free Music Ranked by Usage of Youtubers

Hi guys!

As a Youtube creator, I've always spent great amount of time finding legitimate and relevant music for the videos.

And I've frequently found great Creative Commons music, in Youtube videos of other creators I like.

So I decided to build a simple website where creators can search for Creative Commons music used by Youtube creators and ranked by usage in Youtube videos.

I think this service may help video creators reduce time spent on finding free and relevant music, by checking what music other great creators have used in their videos.

But before I jump into coding this service, I wanna know If there is any actual need for it.

Please let me know if you're gonna need this service when finding music for the video, by opting into beta test in the link below. Thanks!

Why must this be an application with a demo? You can easily make a website with the same purpose.

It is a website.

I think the reason why the GP stated that is because the site requires you to provide an email and states it as a demo. I would love to look at a site like this, but I agree that there seems to be no good reason to provide an email address to see the results for a website like this.
Sorry for miscommunication. The site is not actual service yet. It is just showing the concept and key values of this service. And the reason why I collect the email is that I wanna validate market needs for this service and notify the opted-in people when the service is launched. So I changed the button name to 'get notified when launched'.
Why the email address grab?
Gotta make money some how, selling user data is an easy way to do that.

You should reconsider the name of your site. Unless your plan is to get some coverage when Youtube comes after you.
Thanks for your advice, I would change the service and domain name when actually launching this service!
It looks nice but cant really get a good understanding unless there's a video or gif showing the product use. I'm not sure if Indie makers would like this 'email for demo' feature that much.
It is used just for getting notified when the service is actually launched
Are the songs in the example images just placeholders or is there an actual way to use the music from major artists like Bieber or Maroon 5 "for free" as it appears? Also I didn't receive an email/your throwaway mail recognition works.
No, the major artist's songs would not be downloadable. You would only check that the song is used in the Youtube video or channel.
I know it's already been said, but honestly:

1. Nobody wants to give you an e-mail address just to see this.

2. If it's such a "simple website", why does it appear that you are trying to make it premium-only for access?

3. The name of your service is going to get you sued.

And I think I need to change the service name.

OP. it's been 7 hours and you haven't answered why or how you use email address data.
I originally voted for this since it seems like a good idea but then unvoted it because it just a landing page with nothing to show for (which is against HN guidelines for show hn iirc)

Regardless I think you should post it again when the access is available for everyone and I'll happily vote for you.
