The voice channels being stolen from Discord is an awesome change. It's great for async work, hop in a room, discuss issue, if needed do screen share, drop out.
Stories, not sure what problem it's trying to solve. I guess it can work for larger companies (not Coinbase of course because stories aren't part of its mission).
It gave an example in the article: “Instead of having this 15-minute daily stand-up meeting, can we record the video earlier... and get rid of the 15-minute meeting?", which I guess can allow for asynchronous meetings instead of trying to schedule everyone.
Also not sure what the dig at Coinbase has to do with anything here.

Thanks for pointing out the use case, it now makes more sense. loom.com is quite nice for this kind of video progress update until this feature lands.
