Sifting through videos for a specific piece of information is a problem I've come across as a developer (and more generally, as someone who watches a lot of informational/instructional videos). Over the past few weeks, I've built Topica as a product that helps viewers search for the exact moments they're looking for in a video catalog/playlist. Along with that, I've built out a clickable “interactive transcript” that makes it easy to follow along and jump around in a given section of video.
I've used Sam Altman's "How To Build The Future" video playlist as a demo (but the MVP lets users build out and index an entire catalog/playlist). I’ve also put up a landing page here:
