PLOS ONE: LaTeX users are slower and more error prone than Word users (journals.plos.org)

Submitted because it's pretty surprising to me...

LaTeX is a typesetting system. Word is a word processor. Apples and oranges.

This paper was published in 2014. Here are links to previous discussions on HN (from the same year) that might be interesting. It seems the employed methodology might have been biased.
