Ask HN: review our startup Spockly.com - it adds context to your emails
We built a service that helps you quickly understand who is your audience by analyzing your email contacts.
It works by extracting and matching public profile information from social media sites (we don't use cookies or tracking).
Rather than make it a stalking tool for ex-boyfriends (sorry, no private info here), we concentrated on aggregating data and painting the big picture.
We moved into open beta a few days ago and would really appreciate your feedback on the concept and its implementation.
You can get started by importing your emails directly from Google, Yahoo (or other ESPs) as well as email marketing platforms (MailChimp, Campaign Monitor).
Things we would like to hear from you: -- is it useful? how would you use it? -- what data is missing? -- what functionality would you like to see? -- what 3rd party platforms you would like it to hook up to?
Thanks!
