I want to learn how to find a job that allows me to become an expert and has realistic expectations.
They all ask for the world. I'm expected to be an expert in multiple languages and become an expert in a new stack in months, all without training and while switching back and forth between tech. If you want me to become a Python expert, then give me a steady diet of Python work. I don't see any path forward and I'm tired of being treated like I'm disposable.

[ 0.19 ms ] story [ 2863 ms ] thread- Advanced linear algebra
- Differential equations
- How to work on a complex system with a large codebase
For the first three at least there are plenty of books and courses online.
C/C++ for robotic, Math for data science and complex code/architecture for my day to day job.
Which books or online courses do you recommande ?
- design patterns
- debug skills
- better problem solver
- simpler, clear, easy to remove code
