Serious question - What kind of person needs this answered for them?
Note I said 'kind' of person - Religious or not, the kind of person that needs to be told killing something for 'good luck' (I'm paraphrasing) is not the done thing nowadays may have an anger or hate problem.
I don't think the vast majority of people need the reasons listed in the link to not kill.
