No idea on the veracity of NY Post's claims but, Twitter earlier was blocking any links posted to the article about the HDD @nypost.com as 'unsafe' which is their typical action when a link contains malware. Facebook also has been blocking /deboosting sharing of this article.
I see a great deal of bias in these actions by the tech companies. Any negative unsourced article about the president is allowed to be shared but, articles about his opponent or his adult children are instantly and aggressively de-platformed. It's a very scary precedent regardless of your politics.

Really? Do you have an example of any other articles about negative news the Obama's children or Biden's children being "aggressively de-platformed"? I distinctly remember an entire news cycle about Malia Obama smoking weed. QAnon was allowed to post bullshit for months but somehow suddenly tech companies are biased.
A senate comittiee is now working with the computer repair person to see what can be validated. Would be interesting to know what becomes of it, but it's puzzling to see the deplatforming when new anonymosly sourced stories about the opposition spread like wild fire every week.
