This is clear case of reporting in bad faith from the NY Post. They are knowingly publishing unbelievable smear story. They intentionally avoid reporting anything that connects the story to Russian disinformation.
American public already knows Hunter Biden has serious drug problem. Adding some real stuff into the mix to make the rest more credible is standard tactic in disinformation operations.
What connects the story to Russian disinformation? It is a wild story but nothing indicates specifically that Russia is involved. Per the story this material has already been submitted as evidence to a Senate/FBI investigation quite some time ago so if it is completely made up the FBI and/or the government can say so. I don’t think it’s right to censor an article from a legitimate print publication with investigative reporting staff, even if they tilt towards sensationalism. This isn’t a fake news outlet with totally fabricated stories.

They have several times.
(1) FBI found it false
(2) The Republican Senate Report on Hunter Biden found the story false
(3) DOJ investigation started by Bill Barr just find the story false.
This new hoax evidence just repeats the claims already disproven without any ambiguity.
