Show HN: MetricPlease – Bookmarklet that turns 100 yards into 91.4 m (github.com)

This little bookmarklet helps with reading webpages that use "inches", "feet", "yards" and "miles" for people (like me) used to the metric system. (It can also handle in. ft. yd. mi.)

Great idea, it's so annoying that even science sites don't use metric, for example a recent article about room temperature superconductors:
