I meant help as in trying to make something good for the society. I can think of doing some free consultancy for a nonprofit, help an open source project for software that helps people or simply tutoring somebody who want to approach the profession from an under represented category.

Your example is something illegal and easy to condemn but you are raising a good point about thinking of the consequences of our job. It is hard to balance career with ethics.
