Because it's vaguely political and has little tech component. It's not like it's about electronic voting machines or something. Not that that stuff never shows up, but usually it's on and off the front page pretty quick unless there's a tech component.
Because it goes against the narrative that widespread voter fraud does not exist prevalent in Hacker News...Anything that goes against the narrative is deemed "political", while any political headlines that go with the narrative are not flagged. Typical double standard that is common in corporate media & big tech...

The difference is of course the Governor could summon law enforcement to quickly find who was causing this—and fix it—but a regular person would have a hard time getting the same kind of enforcement, leading to an uncounted voice.
The lack of journalistic curiosity is startling...BTW, Project Veritas has numerous videos, including a woman who claimed to have swayed 7000 votes. It does not take many operatives of this woman's impact to consistently sway election results.
To people who pay attention, it is obvious. To people who want to confirm their bias that there is no widespread election fraud, no evidence, including video evidence, will suffice. They will rationalize & explain it away...
I know...civil discourse is required on HN... but it's so hard when people cite Project Veritas as if it is anymore newsworthy than the Onion. I can't even grok how someone could buy anything they're selling (or the Qanon crap). SMH.
