Probably important to note, and maybe the reason this was reposted, that this is the guy who was revealed yesterday as authoring the "Anonymous" op-ed.
Why can’t the children be placed in foster care until their own biological families are found? CPS does this all the time with domestic population. Although, family separation under CPS seems cruel and horrendous too.
Will this lead to a policy change within the domestic Child Protective Services Dept? Also wondering if other countries have their own version of CPS.
1. Foster care in their own country would be most humane. That would have a language and culture that is familiar.
2. When the parents can be located, we find that most are unwilling to take the kids back. This is odd. There are two reasonable speculations. One is that the kids were already rejected and abandoned. The other is that there is a hope for eventual family sponsorship.
