I prefer Linode, personally. Great consistent performance, no dials to turn, but also not as many bells and whistles as AWS.
I am always waiting for AWS to release a new product called “Directory Service”, which will actually be just the linux “ls” command, and they’ll charge by the number of items listed with each command.

aws has an cdn.
I have gone through aws, do, vultr, hetzner, upcloud.
- best security aws
- best cdn aws
- best bang for the buck? depends but probably hetzner
