Ask HN: Book/Course/Project Ideas for 2 week lockdown vacation

Hi everyone,

Just looking for ideas for interesting lock down projects/courses for the next 2 weeks. Stuck on vacation but can't go anywhere. As a self-taught developer working mostly on machine learning and enterprise apps, I have a lot of areas of CS/programming I never got to formally cover. I rarely have 2 weeks of uninterrupted time to work on whatever I want so I'm suffering from analysis paralysis.

My ideas so far include:

- Finish the rest of Crafting Interpreters.

- Finally go through SICP.

- Finally go beyond basic vim

- Learn a new programming language (Forth? Erlang? Pony? Rust?)

- Do the new fast.ai or MIT deep learning course

- Go beyond minikube and try setting up a prod k8s cluster

- Something fun and not at all work-related like ray tracing in a weekend or the pysdr book
