Just saw that bug today on Debian Stable using FF 78.4 ESR. Was going to comment on that ticket, but they deleted my bugzilla.mozilla.org account.

The content does not back the editorialized HN post title "Google Breaks Gmail on Firefox". At least not yet, could be Google, could be a change FF made, could be both. Either way the bug report is "Google Temporarily Error displays since version 69.0.1" and has an unknown cause at the moment.
