In newer YT app you can't log out without removing Google account from device (support.google.com)

I think you can switch accounts without removing them from the device. However, recently I logged out from all entertainment websites but was unable to prevent myself from watching YT. It can't be uninstalled without a root and now you can't even log out. Android phones are becoming more and more like a Google service, not a device you actually own.
