The campaign was extremely unethical and misleading, implying that victims of domestic abuse would be more vulnerable if their car data were unlocked. I want to make sure I don't support businesses who were willing to pay for such a campaign.

Somewhere there you can find a financial reports of the sides involved. Generally, car producers would like to lock you to their dealerships and approved repair shops.
