Ask dang: Why not put the “next” link on top?

I notice dang always leaving a comment on multipage threads that there are more pages and links to them. Why not add an additional "next page" link at the top, above the comments?

I think he gets notifications when his name is in comments/posts.

fairly sure he has stated that he doesn't. (And the site guidelines also recommend emailing because mods don't see everything)
