Ask HN: How to use Splunk for small personal projects

I recently started learning Splunk (using their their online education curriculum) and I’m wonder if anyone has any ideas for how I could use this on hobby/personal web projects. Is there data I could get from a database or server that would be useful for a solo project? Or is Splunk really just for larger companies?

Splunk can be used for any type of data. Mostly its used for unstructured data. I've used splunk to track planes in real time to tracking cyclist performance in real time.
