Those who don’t believe in God are widely considered to be immoral, wicked and angry. They can’t join the Boy Scouts. Atheist soldiers are rated potentially deficient when they do not score as sufficiently “spiritual” in military psychological evaluations.
This last bit is probably because atheists would naturally score higher for psychopathic and sociopathic behaviors.
Actually, I'd wager it's because atheists naturally score higher in IQ. Like police departments^, I suspect that the military prefers to higher people with "closer to average" IQs.
