The project is now starting to become a victim of its own success, as the ongoing costs for the public relay server have grown sixfold, to USD30/month, borne solely by the project lead. Zack has asked for sponsors[0] via GitHub for USD1/month or USD5/month.
It would be a shame if this success caused the demise of such a useful service.
