Good Naming Convention for Continuous Deployment Environment Names?

I've grown tired of obscure environment names, like dev1,qa3,int1,stg8,demo3? I've heard of better naming conventions such as reh/dry (for rehearsal and dry run). Anyone have a continuous deployment environment naming convention they like?
