Gaddafi apologized for the slave markets of North Africa [1] where black Africans were sold in open auction markets till mid-to-late 20th century. The Libyan war returned these slave markets to Libya where Arab traders would buy/sell black Africans as slaves. This happened under a African-American president Obama, and his Africa-American advisor, Susan Rice. My head explodes thinking about how this is glossed over in the hagiography of the Obama administration. The fact that Susan Rice is again being considered for Secretary of State ( a promotion!) shows zero accountability.
Akin to the Crimes of GWBush/Cheney/Powell and how their obsession with Saddam and WMD broke Iraq/Syria. Something they have to be yet held accountable for.
