Interesting board. Hadn't heard of Elbrus VLIW ISA.

opened to post this. total joke showstopper to consider open until an actual open source toolchain is ported to this weird architecture
VLIW is just cool, regardless of whether or not it'll ever be truly worth it.

Cool, a motherboard with Non-US backdoors, but Russian ones. Certainly usable for security purposes. The third option is to use Chinese backdoors, some of them even with two in one (Chinese plus US). This has at least only one.
I've wanted to play with large VLIW processors (Itanium is a disaster what we don't talk about. And there's litte support anyway). It's almost my dream. I hope this is real!
