Screwed by Mercado Libre (Nasdaq MELI)
I am a seller and a buyer in Mercado Libre, I also own stock. I am one of the few vendors who still has some units. I also sell on Amazon and on shipJoy.mx, recently I had to cancel about 10 playstation orders due to poor customer service on Mercados Libre part and several issues. I contacted their CEO on Argentina (gasperin) and CEO in Mexico. None of them responded. After I canceled the orders, I recived a notice that my account was suspended, my money is frozen and they still expect me to send the orders. I have several payments charged on my credit card. They provide very poor service and was told that all is handled supposedly by Machine Leearning. A rather poor development if you ask me. I plan on going very public with the store, as I have all information and conversation from them.
Hay anyone had similar experience with them? I would never have that problem in Amazon I know. They are a pretty big company from Argentina, even listed on Nasdat, I tried to contact them but no luck. Does anyone from Hacker News have a contact that I could actually speak to from MELI, all is handled by nonsense actions on their website that they lead to no customer service agent whatsoever.
