Corrected title: Amazon employee maps sidewalks of Seattle

The title sounds like the robot is doing it, but not only is it remotely controlled (I first assumed via mobile data), the person controlling it has to walk with it. They might as well be pulling a cart with sensors, there isn't anything robotic about it.

Anyone know what that thing on the front is? The one tilted 45° and looking like a passive cooler with an aperture science-like logo on it?

I'm not an expert but it looks like a lidar to me. Putting it at an angle lets it map the ground in front of the cart.
Are those Penrose tiles on the logo?
