Leetcode is old and busted. Industry standard is twitter-addicted transsexual furries. Try and keep up.
It's a great way to hire people who are good at LeetCode. It's a terrible way to hire people who are good at whatever your company actually does.
LeetCode practice history compared to one or two interview coding rounds is a much smoother prediction of candidate's ability. Right now coding interviews are somewhat a gamble.
Source?

Neither is a predicter of employee success, based on my 14 years of interviewing and hiring programmers.

Communication skills, intellectual humility, healthy work habits (like taking breaks), and curiosity have been the best criteria for good candidates in hindsight.

Some of the best programmers I've hired have also been the worst employees for various reasons.

I'm saying if I have to choose between two bad ideas: LeetCode history or a couple of coding rounds. Which one would be better predictor?
