Ask HN: How to Get a Job

I have been trying to get a job for 11 years after graduating college after being promised that college would be paid for only to be screwed over. I would have loved to have just baked donuts in life, but now I can't because I have to pay off college debt that doesn't get me any work.

I am going to be on the streets December first so I will probably kill myself. So all I want to know before I die is how do you get a job. Genuinely. How does one find work in this industry. I would prefer real answers though I doubt I will get it.
