There seems to be a lot of scary articles about surveillance today
More and more the self-owned Pi based solutions look better. Can't hardly trust anyone.
Imagine Google not knowing that they would be caught

Translation: We knew people wouldn't like it, so we "forgot" to list it on the tech specs.

I call BS. I had a printer once that advertised MANUAL DUPLEXING as a features. The marketing department wouldn't forget to list a piece of hardware that costed money as a feature unless they thought it devalued the product.

Google microphones in my house? No thanks.
