Hire people who give a shit (alexw.substack.com)

one of the quickest ways to loose people that GAS is to make it apparent that no one else will GAS.

I thought the internet had already debated and come to the conclusion that long hours are a terrible expectation and even worse signal of productivity/effectiveness/etc... Why in 2020 is anyone writing blogs about only hiring people who will work overtime for them?
